Sharon, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I remember her as a kind lady with a wonderful sense of humor who loved Halley and her three sons very much. Be blessed today in the knowledge that she is now experiencing in REALITY what she looked forward to by FAITH. One of my favorite old hymns says, "It will be worth it all when we see Jesus....." Thank you for continuing to share your writing skills with us, sweet friend!
Hey Paula! Great to connect with you here. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, she's living the LIFE now, for sure! I find myself at times thinking, "See, Mom! I told you there was more to Jesus than what you knew." LOL! I miss her, of course. But I am truly thrilled and relieved that her suffering here is over. Her quality of life in this realm the last few years has been poor, at best. So why on earth would you want to hang around here any longer than you have to! Go home, already! And that's what she did.
Thanks for the encouragement with my writing. I've always loved to write; just didn't know if anyone was all that interested in reading what I had to say. Guess they are. I'll forever be a work-in-progress, but I sure love doing it.
Hope you're well. Halley called me recently and we've had good chats, even though she's forgetting things a lot more now. She didn't remember that I was on the phone with her the day Mom passed away. (I was filling her in on Mom's condition.) And she got upset at Jerry for not telling her that Mom had passed. He did. She just didn't remember. But longer term stuff, she's still sharp as a tack.
Thanks again for the comment. Always love hearing from you. ❤️
