I would really love the premier of the next episode Sharon. I enjoy learning from amazing, moraled and cultured women like you and this is inspiring on a different level.

This is how to keep an article simple but 100% meaningful.

Thank you so much for the read and the encouragement, Ral. I'll be working on Part 3 this week, but may delay publishing it until after Easter. Not sure yet.

Sounds like a wonderful upbringing you had, and learned the value of hard work at an early age. I’ll have to read Pt 1 to get caught up. And looking forward to Pt 3. I drifted from God and did my own thing after my divorce. Was angry and wandered around in the desert for much longer than I’d care to admit. Returning to the fold was humbling and joyous at the same time. Thanks for sharing your story.

I wouldn’t take from growing up where I did at the time I did back in the 60’s and 70’s. It was SUCH a different world back then. Your story sounds a little like my husband’s — although he didn’t leave his church. He DID, however, struggle in his own desert with a lot of hurt after his divorce. My Part 3 covers some of what you experienced: humbling and joyous at the same time. Thanks for reading and commenting. Have a great weekend!

I’m grateful to have grown up back then too. Simpler times without all of the technology, and no one could instantly start filming when I did something stupid, which was often. :) Hope you have a great weekend too!
